The installable Grafite companion for meetings, dictation, and capture from any window. Mac is available now. Windows follows the same design as we roll that build out.
What the desktop app adds
Grafite in the browser and on iOS already records, transcribes, and stores your knowledge graph. The desktop app adds system audio for headphone calls, system-wide dictation into other apps, and compact quick notes or voice notes you can open without hunting for a tab.

Capture from anywhere
Dictation
⌘⇧D / Ctrl+Shift+DInserts speech into the app in front: Slack, Mail, Google Docs, Notion, Word, browsers, and similar fields. Does not create a Grafite note.
Quick note
⌘⇧N / Ctrl+Shift+NOpens a compact window. What you type saves as a Grafite note. Open in the full editor when you want headings, tasks, or more room.
Quick voice note
⌘⇧V / Ctrl+Shift+VOpens a compact recorder. Grafite transcribes as you speak and stores it as a voice note you can search and summarize later.
Remap shortcuts
Open Settings → Hotkeys in the desktop app if a shortcut clashes with another tool. Voice note and meeting screenshot can also be turned off. Dictation does not run while a meeting is recording.
On your computer
Meeting transcription already offers Grafite Cloud and On device options. Dictation can use Apple Speech, On device — Best, or Grafite Cloud Pro. More of the product is moving on-device over time. See on-device speech, transcription settings and dictation.
